Can Adwords Help Your Google Position On Keywords?
Google and other reputable search engines are important to all existing websites because web users turn to search engines when they are looking for something. When people are looking for information about anything, it has become common practice to try search engines before anything else.
It is because of this that web masters and SEO experts are working hard to put websites at the top of a search lists. So that a website will place well on search engine results, they employ the following SEO strategies:
- Quality Content on you site
- Article submissions
- Directory submissions
- Blog and niche blog reviews
- Press releases
- Google indexing
All of these strategies are designed to spread the word about your site. Through these methods, links to your page will be properly disseminated and your Google ranking will improve.
Adwords, is a different thing altogether. They are pay-per-click and cost-per-click advertising that companies use to promote their business online. SEO experts say that Google and Adwords are independent of each other. This means that whether or not you are running an Adwords campaign at the moment, it will not affect your Google search standings or your placement on other search engines.
So how does Adwords affect the status of your blog?
Adwords may not directly affect the ranking of your blog, but with the right keywords or Adword campaign, some readers in an effort to locate you again would search for you on Google and other search engines. Your Adwords campaign has successfully achieved on getting the word out about you and this, in turn, this increased visibility may translate to search results standings.
It could be likened to an SMS campaign. You run an SMS campaign that promotes your business to a group of people and this may generate a sudden rise in the traffic of your website. This web activity will be picked up by Google, so that your listing will be improved. This improvement may be the result of a successful SMS campaign but this is not the reason your site is doing well in Google.
